I have been exploring many visual interpretations of the sea in my career as an artist. My series, "Waterlines" explored rising sea levels. In my "Waterforce series, I used layers of watered-down acrylic paint in a gestural application attempting to capture the sea's energy.
My current work is a journey above and below the seas. They are dreamscapes encompassing ideas of atmosphere, rays of light and underwater reefs. I ask viewers to think about their personal impact on the seas. We are all stewards of our beautiful oceans.
